Pick up your PTA's Membership Cards

Presidents or Membership Chairs are welcome to pick up membership cards from the representatives listed below. Please email them to make arrangements. Each representative will be asked to print and sign their name when the cards have been picked up. Some of the PTAs have multiple boxes and some of them are showing that they have multiple boxes, but they have been consolidated. If you find that you are missing something, please contact Kim Hodges.

Resources for Your PTA

See the Resources for your PTA tab for information about holding virtual meetings, Financial Reconciliation and other information about conducting PTA business. If you still have questions, reach out to a Council Officer for assistance. We're here to help you!

Have you registered your 2020-2021 Local PTA Officers and Committee Chairs with Texas PTA? Having your email on files allows Texas PTA to send you position specific training and updates throughout the year.

Get the year started on the right foot. Texas PTA has online BASICS training videos for many PTA Officer Positions. A Boardsmanship trainng video is coming for positions without a specific video. FOUNDATIONS Essentials (formerly named FOUNDATIONS Leader Orientation) is available online for new board members. If you have taken FLO I in the past, you are exempt from this course.

The Everyone Campaign

The Everyone Campaign builds upon the strong foundation of #backthefuture and expands its meaning: PTA is not an exclusive club defined by any one person. We are a vibrant group of people from all walks of life, representing the diversity within our communities.

The Everyone Campaign and the new hashtag, #YouCanPTA, clear up any misconceptions about joining PTA. If you care about your community’s schools and students, you belong in PTA.

Texas PTA is excited to launch phase one of the online toolkit. We encourage all PTAs to begin introducing the campaign to your volunteers, school, and the wider community. Brand guidelines are included in the toolkit, which details all of the resources currently available. See Texas PTA for Online Membership Toolkit
